This allows users to experience new features early while enabling the company to gather valuable feedback. ## No Hardware Expectations No new Apple hardware is expected in July. The company's last July launch was in 2019. Recent price increases and the traditional September event suggest new products are delayed until fall. ## Software Release Calendar Apple's beta release strategy is now more structured. Developer-only releases come first, followed by public betas. The new numbering system (e.g., '27') represents the year of primary use, making tracking easier for users. ## Beta Usage Warnings Experts advise against installing betas on daily driver devices. Those using mission-critical apps for work should wait. Early versions may have battery life issues and some app incompatibilities. ## Apple TV+ Content Schedule July brings Season 3 of Silo, Season 5 of Trying, and new movies to the platform. Apple's original content strategy supports growth in subscription services. ## Apple Arcade Games Four new games are coming to Apple Arcade on the first Friday of July. From fishing simulations to city builders, diverse game genres expand the subscription service's appeal. Apple's gaming strategy aims to strengthen ecosystem loyalty. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.macworld.com/article/3189014/apple-july-2026-ios-ipados-macos-27-public-betas-tv-arcade-releases.html — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
