Viewers can access the first two episodes immediately upon launch. Subsequent installments of this dark science fiction series are scheduled to arrive on the streaming platform every Friday for the audience. ## Plot and Premise The story follows sixth-grade twins, Yuuma and Sawa, who become trapped in a virtual reality MMORPG. Reality and the game world merge, resulting in permanent death and the appearance of bizarre monsters. Yuuma must embark on a dangerous mission to repair the reality rupture while saving his sister and classmates. ## Accessing via Prime Video Devil's Crest is available to subscribers of Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. New customers who have never signed up for the service before can utilize a 30-day free trial to watch the series without incurring an initial subscription cost. ## Overcoming Geo-blocking Restrictions Viewers traveling outside their home country may encounter geo-blocking, which restricts access to their domestic Prime Video library. A Virtual Private Network (VPN) serves as a technical solution by masking the user's IP address. This allows subscribers to connect to servers in their home region and stream content as if they were local. ## VPN Usage and Security Beyond bypassing regional content locks, VPNs provide an additional layer of digital security when accessing the internet from public networks. By encrypting data traffic, these services prevent unauthorized parties from monitoring online activity. Reliable providers like NordVPN are frequently utilized to maintain privacy and ensure consistent access to international streaming platforms. ## Voice Cast Overview The production features a notable Japanese voice cast bringing the characters to life. Haruka Shiraishi voices Yūma Ashihara, while Konomi Inagaki portrays Sawa Ashihara. Other key cast members include Yūsuke Kobayashi as Teruki Sugamo, Maaya Uchida as Aria Misono, and Rie Murakawa as Kai Kisanuki, among several other talented voice actors involved. ## Subscription Costs and Trials In Canada, a standard Prime Video subscription costs CA$9.99 per month or CA$99 per year. Regardless of the specific regional pricing, the 30-day free trial remains a consistent offer for new users globally. After the trial period concludes, the standard monthly or annual fees apply for continued access to the library. ## Genre and Expectations Fans of Reki Kawahara’s previous work, such as Sword Art Online, are the primary target audience for this adaptation. The series blends horror elements with high-stakes virtual reality action. Given the dark themes and brutal narrative, it stands as a significant addition to the current season's lineup of science fiction anime. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.techradar.com/entertainment/tv-shows/how-to-watch-devils-crest — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
