Robinhood Chain Surges: 7 Million Daily Transactions and $3 Billion DEX Volume
Robinhood Chain hits $3B DEX volume and 7M daily transactions in its first week, driven by meme coins.
1Robinhood Chain's First Week Performance
Robinhood Chain processed over $3 billion in DEX volume during its first full week, marking an impressive debut. However, most of this volume came from meme coins rather than the tokenized stocks the network was designed to support. Uniswap dominated the majority of the trading activity on the chain.
2User and Transaction Growth
Robinhood Chain became a high-throughput network within two weeks. Daily transactions surged from 680,000 to 7 million, while daily active users grew from 33,000 to 194,000. The network's block time improved significantly, dropping from 580 milliseconds to around 100 milliseconds.
3Meme Coin Impact
Cash Cat (CASHCAT), a meme coin, drove significant trading activity on Robinhood Chain. The coin reached a market cap of $144.6 million, with $34.8 million in 24-hour trading volume. A notable trader's $233,000 investment and perpetual futures listings further boosted its popularity.
4Morpho's TVL Leadership
Total Value Locked (TVL) on Robinhood Chain hit $139.78 million, with Morpho Blue accounting for $89.04 million. Active loans on the network totaled $100.93 million, nearly all tied to Morpho. Uniswap held the second-largest TVL at $44.87 million.
5Stablecoin and Bridge Activity
Stablecoin supply on Robinhood Chain reached $294.42 million, with USDG making up 66% of the total. Bridged value into the network totaled $439.58 million, with Ethereum to Robinhood Chain being the busiest route.
6Tokenized Stocks' Status
Tokenized stocks remain a small part of the ecosystem. Over 65,000 users hold $13 million in tokenized stocks, compared to $300 million in stablecoins and $3.1 billion in weekly DEX volume. Growth potential in Robinhood Chain's core focus area persists.
