This rapid turnaround occurs less than a year after the May 13, 2026, debut. The early renewal in February allowed production to move quickly to meet significant global viewer demand. ## Record-Breaking Debut Performance The series achieved 36 million viewers within its first 12 days, marking one of the platform's most successful launches ever. It remains a top 10 global series six months post-release. The show holds a 92% critical approval rating, with reviewers praising its nuanced handling of consent and healthy relationship dynamics. ## New Narrative Focus Season 2 shifts its primary focus to the romance between Allie Hayes, played by Mika Abdalla, and Dean Di Laurentis, played by Stephen Kalyn. This installment adapts the plot of The Score, the third novel in Elle Kennedy’s best-selling book series, following the show's established model of rotating central couples. ## Returning Cast Members Series regulars Belmont Cameli and Ella Bright will return alongside Abdalla and Kalyn. Other returning regulars include Antonio Cipriano and Jalen Thomas Brooks. India Fowler joins the main cast as Grace Ivers, the romantic interest of John Logan. Josh Heuston is the only major Season 1 regular not returning for this cycle. ## Recurring and Guest Stars The recurring cast features Julia Sarah-Stone, Khobe Clarke, and Miles Gutierrez-Riley. Philipa Soo joins as a new recurring character, Scarlett, a theatre artist directing a college play. Guest stars include Charlie Evans, reprising his role as Hunter Davenport, and Shay Rudolph, who joins the production as Dean’s younger sister, Summer. ## Production and Creative Team Creator Louisa Levy continues to serve as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Gina Fattore. The production team includes Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman from Temple Hill, with Annika Patton serving as co-executive producer. Leanna Billings and Neal Flaherty also maintain their executive producer roles for the upcoming season. ## Departures from Season 1 Several actors from the inaugural season will not return for the second installment. Chad Willett, who portrayed the Briar Hawks head coach, and Steve Howey, who appeared as Garrett’s father, are absent from the new cast list. These changes reflect the show's evolving narrative scope as it transitions into new storylines. ## Strategic Streaming Strategy The show’s success follows a pattern of high-profile Prime Video debuts, ranking behind only The Rings of Power and Fallout in terms of initial reach. By maintaining a consistent release cadence and adapting popular source material, the platform aims to sustain its momentum within the competitive young adult drama market. ## Sources covering this story - [Deadline — Prime Video Sets April 2027 Premiere for Off Campus Season 2](https://deadline.com/2026/11/off-campus-season-2-release-date-returning-cast-prime-video-1237214389/) - [The Hollywood Reporter — Prime Video Sets April Premiere for Off Campus Season 2](https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/off-campus-season-2-april-premiere-date-1236748489/) - [Variety – TV — Amazon Prime Video Sets Season 2 Premiere for 'Off Campus'](https://variety.com/2026/tv/news/off-campus-season-2-release-amazon-alli-and-dean-1236940329/) - [E!
