PR House: A Modern Architectural Example in Mexico
A serene living space with a central courtyard design by 0studio Arquitectura.
1Central Courtyard Design
PR House is an 848 m² residential project in Zapopan, Mexico, designed by 0studio Arquitectura. The design revolves around a central courtyard that connects different spaces and shapes the living experience. This courtyard not only regulates natural light and ventilation but also establishes a continuous dialogue between indoor and outdoor areas.
2Natural Light and Ventilation
One of the standout features of the project is its design that optimizes natural light and ventilation. The central courtyard ensures balanced light entry throughout the day while naturally regulating airflow. This enhances energy efficiency and creates a comfortable living environment.
3Indoor-Outdoor Integration
0studio Arquitectura's design blurs the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces. The courtyard surrounds living areas, providing a seamless transition. This approach creates a calm and balanced atmosphere while strengthening the harmony between spaces.
4Team and Collaborations
The project was led by Miguel Angel Delgado and Juan Antonio Corcuera. Interior design was handled by Arbotante, and landscape architecture by Estudio Camaleon. This interdisciplinary collaboration ensured that every detail of the project was carefully considered.
5Architectural Details
PR House reflects the clean and functional lines of modern architecture. The materials and details used emphasize the project's contemporary identity while harmonizing with Mexico's local architectural elements. This balance gives the project a unique character.
6Contribution to Architecture
PR House brings a fresh perspective to modern residential architecture with its central courtyard concept. The project serves as an example of efficient use of natural resources and spatial fluidity. Set to be completed in 2026, the structure offers an inspiring model for sustainable and serene living spaces.
