1Project Overview
Beacon School High School was designed as part of a new campus in São Paulo's Vila Leopoldina district. Following the master plan developed in 2016, the high school building was completed after the early childhood and elementary school buildings. The project was carried out by Andrade Morettin Arquitetos Associados, Guido Otero Arquitetura, and Ricardo Gusmão Arquitetos.
2Architectural Details
The high school building covers an area of 3100 square meters and stands out with its modern architectural elements. Structural consulting for the project was provided by firms like Avila Engenharia de Estruturas and ITA Engenharia em Madeira. Additionally, acoustic and lighting systems were specially designed.
3Other Campus Buildings
Prior to the high school building, the early childhood and elementary school buildings were completed and are actively in use. These buildings were also designed by the same architectural team, showcasing a holistic design approach for the campus.
4Construction Process
The construction process was managed by Barbara Engenharia. With contributions from expert firms in structural consulting, installations, and acoustic systems, the project was completed in 2023. Environmental factors and sustainability were also considered during this process.
