EA Sports' famous football simulation series, Madden NFL, will appear on Apple Arcade for the first time. Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition will be playable on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV starting August 7. This move marks the game's expansion into a mobile and subscription-based platform.
2Launching Before Console and PC Versions
The Apple Arcade version will release six days before the console and PC editions. Players can enjoy different experiences thanks to both touch controls and controller support. Dynamic player ratings based on real-life performances are also a highlight.
3Franchise Mode and Quick Play Options
In addition to Quick Play, players can take on the role of a team's general manager in Franchise mode, strategizing to win a Super Bowl. However, the Ultimate Team mode will not be included in the Apple Arcade version.
4Return to Mac After 19 Years
The Madden NFL series is returning to the Mac platform after a 19-year absence. The last Mac game in the series was NFL Madden 08, released in 2007. This move aims to strengthen Apple's presence in the gaming market.

Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition will join popular sports games like NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition and Football Manager 26 Touch on Apple Arcade. Additionally, another football game, Retro Bowl College+, will launch on August 6.
