Right Resources Achieves 90% Gold Recovery at Pilot Project

Preliminary metallurgical testing confirms high extraction rates from historic NSW goldfield waste material.

1High Recovery Rates Confirmed

Right Resources successfully extracted 89.9 percent of gold from historic mullock dump material at its Pilot project in New South Wales. The 24-hour laboratory test utilized conventional cyanide leaching methods on a 29-kilogram composite sample. These preliminary results indicate that legacy mining waste may respond favorably to modern processing techniques.

2Efficient Chemical Consumption Metrics

The metallurgical process demonstrated modest reagent usage, consuming only 374 grams of sodium cyanide and 239 grams of lime per tonne over 48 hours. Low chemical consumption is a critical factor for maintaining operational cost control. These figures provide a positive baseline for assessing the future economic viability of the site.

3Gravity Separation Performance Results

A three-stage Falcon gravity separation process was applied to concentrate heavier gold particles before chemical treatment. This method successfully upgraded the original sample grades from approximately 0.7g/t to 0.8g/t up to a range of 29g/t to 66g/t. Such results suggest the presence of a coarse-gold component within the mineralized material.

4Historical Context and Potential

The Pilot Reef mine historically produced 2662 tonnes of ore grading 38g/t gold, reflecting the high-grade nature of the original deposit. Right Resources is now investigating whether the site represents a reduced intrusion-related gold system. This geological model often links gold mineralization to granite-related systems, potentially including tungsten and copper deposits.

5Strategic Portfolio and Location

Right Resources manages a 2459-square-kilometre exploration portfolio across New South Wales, including the Tumbarumba and New England goldfields. The Pilot project is situated within the prospective Lachlan Fold Belt near the Gilmore Fault Zone. This regional positioning provides the company with significant exposure to both gold and various critical mineral assets.

6Leadership and Industry Experience

Managing director Graham Howard leads the company, bringing over 35 years of experience in the resources sector. His background includes senior roles at major mining developments like the Telfer and Boddington mines in Western Australia. His leadership follows a successful $10 million ASX float completed by the company in October 2025.

7Future Technical Investigation Steps

The company plans to conduct further mineralogical investigations to determine the distribution and size of gold particles. Future work will include additional gravity testing and the processing of larger, more representative samples. These steps are essential to reconcile current findings and establish reliable recovery figures for the broader Pilot project area.

8Early Technical Validation Milestone

These findings represent an early technical milestone rather than a final commercial breakthrough for the junior explorer. By combining historical high-grade production data with promising metallurgical results, Right Resources has strengthened its case for continued exploration. The project remains a central focus for the company as it investigates its broader mineral potential.
