GoLand 2026.3 Introduces JetBrains Air for Agentic Development
The latest GoLand update integrates multi-agent workflows and enhances remote development capabilities.
1JetBrains Air Integration
GoLand 2026.3 introduces JetBrains Air, a dedicated layer for managing agentic development workflows directly within the IDE. Users can now run, track, and verify various coding agents, including Claude, Gemini, and GitHub Copilot. This unified workspace allows developers to review agent-generated changes alongside their existing codebase before finalizing any deployments.
2Agentic Performance Profiling
A new specialized skill enables AI agents to utilize GoLand’s built-in profiler to investigate application slowdowns. Agents can now capture performance data, identify resource-heavy functions, and suggest specific source lines for developer review. This feature builds upon the optimization tools introduced in the previous 2026.2 release to accelerate debugging processes.
3Flexible Agent Subscriptions
The Air platform supports existing provider subscriptions, API keys, and custom base URLs without requiring a separate JetBrains AI subscription. Users can switch between different models mid-session or utilize the free Junie Lite configuration. The system automatically detects installed agents, allowing for seamless integration into the developer's current coding environment.
4Enhanced Git Worktree Support
GoLand 2026.3 improves parallel development by copying local project configurations into new Git worktrees. This update maintains settings like run configurations without requiring manual recreation or commits to Git. Additional improvements include better support for projects with multiple roots and more reliable creation processes within repositories that utilize complex submodules.
5Accessibility and Sound Cues
New sound cues provide auditory feedback for critical IDE events, such as build successes, test failures, or breakpoint hits. These signals assist screen reader users by identifying editor line marks, including errors, warnings, and version control changes. Developers can customize these notifications via the Accessibility settings page to suit their specific workflow.
6Remote Development Improvements
The IDE now features an integrated connection flow for remote development over SSH, utilizing OpenSSH for better compatibility with security keys. A new Light mode allows developers to begin editing files and using the terminal immediately while the remote IDE initializes. Once ready, the session transitions to Smart mode without losing state.
7Kubernetes and Figma Integration
Developers can now create database connections directly for Kubernetes pods or Docker containers via the Services tool window. Furthermore, the update allows users to browse and edit files inside Kubernetes pods. Figma Connect integration enables agents to receive design context, such as layer hierarchy and spacing, directly from selected Figma layers.
8Streamlined Home Window Experience
The redesigned Home window allows developers to perform quick tasks like editing standalone files or running terminal commands without loading a full project. Automatic error and UI freeze reporting have been implemented to help the team identify and resolve performance issues. These reports mask sensitive information to ensure user data privacy.
