Altersend is a platform that enables users to transfer files without requiring any cloud storage service or account creation. Unlike traditional methods, files are sent directly to recipients and not stored on servers. ## How Does It Work? The platform allows users to upload files and generate a unique link. By sharing this link with recipients, users facilitate direct file transfer. The system operates on the principle of temporary data processing. ## What Are the Advantages? Altersend's biggest advantage is its emphasis on user privacy. Since files aren't stored on cloud servers, data security risks are minimized. The no-account requirement also provides ease of use. ## Use Cases The platform is particularly ideal for professionals who need to share sensitive data and teams requiring quick file transfers. It also offers a practical solution for temporary sharing of large files. ## Technological Infrastructure Altersend offers a modern implementation of peer-to-peer (P2P) technology. The system enables temporary encrypted processing of files, creating an alternative to traditional cloud storage methods. ## Future Potential As data privacy concerns grow, solutions like Altersend may gain popularity. Such platforms could be preferred in sectors requiring compliance with GDPR and similar regulations. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.producthunt.com/products/altersend — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
