Modern House Design in São Paulo
A residential project shaped by the minimalist approach of André Vainer Arquitetos.
1Project Overview
Located in Alto de Pinheiros, São Paulo, this modern house was designed by André Vainer Arquitetos. The project covers an area of 5920 square feet and was completed in 2023. The house is positioned along the neighboring property line with a front setback, creating an L-shaped floor plan. This design leaves a large open courtyard at the center of the site.
2Architectural Details
The house is built on a flat, well-oriented lot. Openings facing east, north, and west bring sunlight into the interiors throughout the day. Concrete was used as the primary material, chosen for both durability and aesthetics. Products from brands such as Coral, Deca, and FÓRMICA BRASIL were also incorporated into the project.
3Interior Design
The interiors are designed with a minimalist approach, focusing on functional solutions. Large glass openings allow natural light to flood the spaces. The open courtyard creates a connection between the indoor and outdoor areas. Lighting, designed by Anna Turra, complements the atmosphere of the space.
4Landscaping and Environment
Landscaping was handled by André Paoliello. The large open courtyard harmonizes with the surrounding landscape, creating a natural atmosphere. Garden areas were arranged to complement the minimalist design of the house. Additionally, ventilation and air conditioning systems were designed by Logiproject and integrated into the project.
5Structural System and Materials
The concrete structure of the house was designed by Benedicts Engenharia, led by Eduardo Duprat. Electrical and plumbing systems were installed by Dlameza Engenharia. Security systems were provided by Project System. These details ensure the house is both durable and secure.
6Acoustics and Security
Acoustic design was handled by Sonic Arts, maximizing sound insulation throughout the space. Security systems were designed to cover every corner of the house. Frames provided by AMX Esquadrias play a crucial role in both aesthetics and security. These details enhance the comfort of the house.
7Construction Process
The construction process was managed by Átimo Brasil, and the project was completed on time. Marcenaria da Fazenda handled the woodwork, adding warmth to the space. Materials used during construction were selected for both durability and environmental friendliness. This approach enhances the sustainability of the project.
8Significance of the Project
This project combines functional and aesthetic solutions of modern architecture. André Vainer Arquitetos stands out with their minimalist design approach, and this house makes a significant contribution to the architectural fabric of São Paulo.
