Beneath its aluminum alloy and forged carbon fiber body lie dual ESS ES9069Q DAC chips. These chips support up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM and DSD512 playback, creating an ideal solution for high-resolution music on the go. ## Powerful Amplification The QX11 delivers 800mW + 800mW output power in Desktop Mode, surpassing its predecessor KA17's 650mW. This extra power provides significant advantages for high-impedance headphones and models requiring more amplification. Four Texas Instruments operational amplifiers contribute to noticeably improved audio quality. ## Gaming Mode Feature FiiO takes the QX11 beyond traditional music listening. Its dedicated Gaming Mode offers optimized sound profiles for FPS, ACT, and MOBA games. Built-in microphone with AI environmental noise cancellation ensures clear in-game communication. Wired headphone users can enjoy a complete gaming setup with fewer accessories. ## Smart Equalizer System The QX11 delivers a user-friendly equalizer experience through FiiO's software ecosystem. Automatic correction profiles are available for supported headphone models. Genre-specific EQ presets provide optimized sound for different music styles, enhancing the listening experience across various content types. ## Battery Drain Solution QX11 addresses the power consumption issue common in portable DACs with 45W USB Power Delivery passthrough. Its dual USB-C ports allow simultaneous charging of connected phones or laptops while using the DAC. This feature offers a practical solution for extended listening sessions away from power outlets. ## Design and Aesthetics Available in green and gold finishes, the QX11 stands out from conventional gaming hardware. Despite its compact size, the device uses premium materials throughout its construction. Priced at $170, it targets buyers seeking both performance and versatility in their audio equipment. ## Versatile Usage The QX11 goes beyond being a simple high-resolution file decoder. Designed as a compact audio hub, it seamlessly transitions between serious music listening, gaming, and everyday portable use without requiring setup changes. This flexibility makes it suitable for various audio scenarios. ## Ideal for Audio Enthusiasts The FiiO QX11 presents an ideal option for entry-level audiophiles who want high-quality sound without complex systems. Its portability and versatility make it a significant product for those looking to integrate professional-grade audio quality into their daily lives with minimal hassle. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.yankodesign.com/2026/08/26/fiio-qx11-brings-desktop-class-audio-power-to-a-pocket-sized-dac/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=fiio-qx11-brings-desktop-class-audio-power-to-a-pocket-sized-dac — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
