By eliminating visual and material clutter in the 280-square-meter space, the focus shifts to the experience of the body, light, and color. This design offers a simple yet functional living space beyond modernism. ## Mid-20th Century Fabric The project is located in a building from the mid-20th century. Reflecting the typical residential architecture of Higienópolis from the 1940s to 1960s, the structure stands out with its generous floor plan. The design aims to preserve the building's historical texture while creating a contemporary living space. ## Play of Color and Light Color and light emerge as key elements in the apartment's design. Jimeno Dualde creates a dynamic atmosphere by playing with the color palette and natural light. This approach aims to offer a unique experience in every corner of the home. ## Functional Details Every detail in the design serves a functional purpose. The materials and furniture carefully selected by the architectural team provide comfort without disrupting the space's clean aesthetic. This apartment meets practical daily needs while maintaining aesthetic considerations. ## Team and Collaboration The project highlights the architectural team of Augusto Kenji and Felipe Rodrigues' construction management. With Gabriela Chow's contributions to landscape design, the harmony between indoor and outdoor spaces is achieved. This collaboration ensures the project is completed with a holistic approach. ## An Architectural Experience Colors Apartment offers more than just a residential project—it provides an architectural experience. Lucas Jimeno Dualde's work emphasizes the power of simplicity in space design and the importance of color-light interaction. Located in the heart of São Paulo, this apartment serves as an inspiring example for modern living. ## Sources covering this story - https://www.archdaily.com/1181509/colors-apartment-lucas-jimeno-dualde — --- _Summary written by Brifing from the original reporting.
